Destry Jetton, host of Arizona Midday, took some time during the popular beauty basics segment to review the newest advances in sun protection, with celebrity beauty consultant Mickey Williams. Noting that there is no product more important during the summer months than sunscreen, because as we all know, sun damage can add years to your skin. However, she said, there are now ways to enjoy the sun while staying safe without that old sunscreen/medicine smell.
During the program, Mickey shared one of her favorite new breakthrough products – the Lumixyl Topical Brightening System. While Lumixyl is known for evening skin tone and diminishing hyperpigmentation, she noted it is a great system for sun damage too.
“…but they have also have created an amazing Lumixyl MoistureLock, which their sunscreen,” said Mickey, “It’s an SPF 30, and it’s incredible because it has something called ‘Lumiblock’ in it, which works against the toxins that break down the collegen, and it also gives you a broad spectrum protection.”
“So let me tell you, this is what I run in.” Mickey stated further, “It’s definitely very, very durable, and what’s great about it is that it stays on, but it also is something that is working for your skin while you are wearing it.”
Destry concluded that MoistureLock is great, especially for the intense sun of Arizona. MoistureLock Sunscreen SPF30 was first developed by Envy Medical, Inc. in 2010, and is now carried and dispensed by dermatologists and plastic surgeons across the country and in many other countries around the world. Actually, for those looking for broad spectrum protection plus anti-aging benefits at a professional brand level, Lumixyl’s sunscreen is definitely worth checking out, no matter what part of the world you may encounter the summer sun in.
